On the “missed connections” section of Craigslist, reminiscing souls send out signals to reconnect with someone they have lost touch with. The internet, vast, full of pathways and many eyes, offers hope for reuniting. I’ve made a collection of songs based on five Craigslist missed connection posts, using the words in the posts as lyrics. Like a cheerleader helping to manifest and a stranger floating alongside in melodic empathy, I sent each song back to the person who posted the missed connection. Listen below, cds are available.
